David W. Edwards has represented creditors and collection agencies since 1995, with an emphasis on consumer and commercial collection matters.
He has advised clients on various matters including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
He has also advised clients of state collection laws, licensing requirements, and corporate filings for various states. In addition, he has provided legal defense and public relations services for his clients. He has been a member of the ACA (Association of Credit and Collection Professions) since 2006.
